These are screenshots of "Paris," a multiplayer onslaught map that I designed for Technomancy: The Shadow War, an Unreal Tournament 2004 mod. Inspired by the winding streets and central river divide of Paris, I wanted to convey the flavor of a real European city by creating a twisting labyrinth of streets that appear to have been constructed haphazardly over hundreds of year. In addition to designing, building, and lighting "Paris," I modeled and textured over 30 static meshes, including the collection of buildings that make up the bulk of the geometry of the level.

Designed, planned, and developed in just three months by a team of nine Guildhall students, Technomancy was awarded an honorable mention for "FPS mod" in Epic's "Make Something Unreal" Contest. Based on the strength of Technomancy and another mod created by Guildhall students, the Guildhall was one of the winners in the academic category in the "Make Something Unreal" Contest.

You can visit the Technomancy website and download the mod at http://students.guildhall.smu.edu/gaslightgames/. Renders of some of the models that I created for Technomancy can be viewed on my Environmental Modeling page, and the level design document for "Paris" can be viewed here: Paris level design document (665kB pdf).
